This one-time Master Class will explore the growing world of poetry in the expanded field. On and off the page, aural and visual as well as textual and digital, as sculpture, as film, as performance, as public art, and more! We'll explore some of the myriad ways that 21st ccentury poetry is being made and shared.

One of my favorite summertime experiences is working with poets from across the country who've come together to engage in poetic discovery in one of the most beautiful places on earth!

This summer, I return to work with YOU as we close out another summer workshop season at the Fine Arts Work Center. Together, we will gather seaside in Provincetown, Massachusetts, to work across mediums, to experiment and play, and to explore and deepen our own poetry practice with a hybrid, multi-media, and/or experimental focus.

New to multimedia and/or experimental poetries? Come on in! The seawater is just fine.

What do you do if you find a Pënz tile?

Pënz (it’s pronounced pants) tiles are slowly infiltrating the globe. You may be in California or Alabama, Ireland or Morocco or Hawaii, Australia, Spain or France, on the Q train, on the Tube, or walking the trails at Lady Bird Lake and find yourself face to face with a tile.

That tile may have nothing on it but a label with our web address. It may or may not have a ribbon or a bow. It may be wrapped in instructions:

Step 1:
Make something with this tile.

Step 2:
Take a photo of it. With a camera. With your phone. With a Polaroid.
