So.....

when i was little, and i'd have sleep overs in my parents room (this just meant sleeping on the floor) (and i dont know why we did this), we'd say goodnight to each other, and my mom would always say "g'nite John Boy." It was part of a little routine we had going for a long time, though I never discovered who John Boy is.....

Its gotta be "Little House on the Prarie" -- or "The Waltons" -- one of those old settlers in the west shows. Prolly about your mamas time...

Funny someone said to me the other day we should all start watching those again so we can remember 1) how hard every day life was and, 2) how to do things like that again for when all this technology crashes in on us and we have no prepped newtech energy source and have to remember once more how to survive.

Hmmmmmm... "G'nite John Boy!"
